Our son, adopted from Ethiopia, who experienced severe neglect, abuse, and trauma, has been diagnosed with RAD, cPTSD, ODD, DMDD, ADHD, APD, anxiety disorder, and personality disorder with narcissistic traits. It has been an isolating and agonizing experience that has taken a tremendous toll on our marriage and family.
We have two biological children, ages 8 months and 7 years old. Our 7 year old is showing signs of secondary trauma. We have spent 11 years and our life savings trying to help our adopted son, to no avail. We now need to focus on the other members of our family.
